Changing and resetting your account password whether you have forgotten it or still know it
How do I reset my Sony Entertainment Network account password?
Occasionally you may need to reset your password. This may be because you would like to change it to optimise account security or because you have forgotten it.
IMPORTANT: We will email you a link to reset your password. If you have forgotten your password and you do not have access to the email address you use as your Sign-In ID (Email Address) do not attempt to reset your password. Instead, contact us for further assistance. We will also ask for the date of birth you entered when you created your account. If you do not know the date of birth used do not attempt to reset your password. Instead, contact us for further assistance.

To change your forgotten password on the web via PC, mobile phone or tablet:
Go to the Sony Entertainment Network account Sign-in page and click on Forgotten Your Password?
When prompted, enter your Sign-In ID, which is the e-mail address that your account is registered to and your date of birth. You will be e-mailed a secure link which expires 24 hours after it is sent. If the link expires please repeat steps one and two for it to be re-sent.
When you follow the secure link and fill in the requested information you will be directed to the password change page, where you will be asked to choose a new password and confirm it. When you successfully change your password you will see this message:
To change your password on PC, mobile phone or tablet from Account Management:
Sign-in to your account.
Select the Account tab and click on the Account Details link on the left of the screen.
Click Change Password in the ‘Security’ section of the ‘Account Details’ page to open the ‘Change Password’ page.
Choose a new password and confirm it.
When you successfully change your password you will receive an e-mail confirmation and you will see this message:
If you do not have access to the email address associated with your account, or are unable to successfully set a new password using the method provided, please click here to find out if you can change your Sign-In ID (Email Address).

I have not received a password reset email - what should I do?
If you have not received the password reset email this may be because it has been filed in your spam folder by your email provider. To ensure you receive the password reset email, please add email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book.
