Music Unlimited: Stop explicit content from playing

Parental Controls for Music Unlimited

The Explicit Content setting allows you stop Music Unlimited from playing songs with adult content.

You can access this setting from any Music Unlimited compatible device:


PC/Mac

  1. Sign in to Music Unlimited web interface.
  2. Go to username > Settings.
  3. Click either the [Yes] or [No] next to ‘Allow Explicit Content’.


PS4™

  1. Launch Music Unlimited.
  2. Press up on the controller until you access the top menu and select Image (Settings).
  3. Under ‘General Settings’, un-tick the check box next to ‘Allow Explicit Content’.


PS3™

  1. Launch Music Unlimited and press 'Select' on the control pad.
  2. Go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Explicit Control’.
  3. Highlight either ‘Allow Explicit Content’ or ‘Do Not Allow Explicit Content’ and press Image (X button).


PlayStation®Vita

  1. Launch Music Unlimited and go to Image (Settings).
  2. Under General Settings tap ‘Explicit Content’ and tap either [Allow] or [Do Not Allow] to place a tick next to the option you want.


BRAVIA® HDTVs, Sony Blu-ray Disc™ Players and Home Theaters

  1. Launch Music Unlimited and on the Home Menu, press ‘Options’ > Settings > Enter.
  2. Choose whether or not to allow explicit content and press 'Enter’.


WALKMAN® app on Xperia mobile or Sony tablet

  1. Launch the WALKMAN® app.
  2. Go to Settings > Music Unlimited.
  3. Tick the checkbox to Allow Explicit Content or remove the tick if you want to restrict content.


iOS

  1. Tap Image (Menu) > Image (Settings).
  2. Under General Settings switch Allow Explicit Content [On] or [Off].
